Eagle

The Washburn Eagle (1979-1984) was the top model of the Wing Series. Made in 2 different versions, the B-model (1979-1982) and C- model (1982-1984), similar to the Hawk and Falcon B- and C-model.

The differences in between the Falcon and the Eagle B-models are the contoured backside, brass (chromed in some cases) control knobs and a more luxurious multi-layer binding around the body, neck and headstock.

The C-model Eagles, compared to the C-model Falcons, are either black or white, have luxurious pearly bindings, pearl "Wing" inlays in the fretboard and the name "Eagle" engraved in the trussrod-cover.
